Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and develop microservices, RESTful APIs, and reusable application services.
Develop application functionality using MongoDB and related data-access technologies.
Design scalable application components supporting complex business requirements.
Develop application interfaces and integrations with enterprise systems.
Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable application designs.
Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
Perform unit testing and support integration and regression testing, Investigate and resolve application defects and technical issues.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role

Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database technologies.
Strong understanding of application architecture and object-oriented design principles.
Experience designing scalable enterprise applications and reusable application services.
Experience integrating applications using REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience translating functional requirements into application designs and technical solutions.
Experience with Git and version-control practices.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile software development practices.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
Experience participating in technical design and architecture discussions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
