About the Role:
WorkSaver Material Handling Equipment in Shawnee, OK is looking for a motivated General Laborer to join our metal fabrication team. Responsibilities:
- Assist with metal fabrication processes including cutting, grinding, welding prep, and assembly
- Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Support fabricators and welders with production tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with shop standards
- Inspect finished products for quality and report defects or issues to supervisors
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or general labor setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to shop policies
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
