We are hiring a full-time Experienced HVAC Tech in Stratford, CT. Since 1974, we have earned a strong reputation for quality workmanship, dependable service, and customer satisfaction and just opened a new shop at a new location.

EXPERIENCED HVAC TECH BASICS:

Earn $40 - $50/hour, depending on experience, while building a long-term career with Steve Basso Plumbing Heating & A/C. Our employees are a key part of our success, which is why we offer a benefits package that stands above many others in the industry.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As an Experienced HVAC Tech, you will manage residential service calls while delivering the exceptional workmanship and customer service that homeowners have come to expect from Steve Basso Plumbing Heating & A/C. You will perform thorough maintenance routines designed to prevent future breakdowns, diagnose and resolve complex heating and air conditioning issues, and complete repairs that restore comfort and efficiency. You will also install complete HVAC systems from start to finish, ensuring every project meets our rigorous quality standards. Throughout the day, you will apply your technical expertise to provide efficient solutions while representing a locally owned and operated company known for integrity, professionalism, and personalized customer care.

WHAT'S REQUIRED TO BE AN EXPERIENCED HVAC TECH?

• Class D or S Connecticut Journeyman License
• Valid Connecticut driver's license and a clean driving record
• 5+ years of experience with residential heating and air conditioning installations and services
• Ability to perform HVAC maintenance, repairs, and complete system installations
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Dedication to customer satisfaction
