Elite Therapy Services is excited to expand our services by developing a private, specialized educational program designed to meet the unique academic, developmental, social, and behavioral needs of children with disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated, creative, and compassionate Special Education Teacher with a Master's Degree in Special Education and an emphasis in Elementary and Middle School Education to help develop and lead this exciting new program!

This is a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment where education and therapy come together to help children reach their fullest potential.

🎓 Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Elementary and Middle School Education.
• Experience working with children with autism, developmental delays, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and other special needs.
• Strong knowledge of individualized education, curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Experience developing and implementing individualized educational goals and learning plans.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

📖 Position Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing a private educational program specifically designed for children with special needs.
• Provide individualized and small-group academic instruction based on each student's abilities, strengths, and educational goals.
• Develop modified curriculum and educational activities appropriate for elementary and middle school learners.
• Incorporate functional academics, independent living skills, social skills, and practical life skills into daily instruction.
• Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals to create a comprehensive, team-based approach to learning and development.
• Integrate therapeutic recommendations and strategies into the educational environment to support sensory regulation, communication, attention, behavior, and independence.
• Establish structured classroom routines and implement positive behavioral support strategies.
• Monitor student progress, maintain educational documentation, and communicate with families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Help create an engaging, supportive, and individualized learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
