The city of Oskaloosa is currently accepting applications for seasonal, on-call snow removal workers to assist the Public Works Department with snow and ice removal operations.

Selected applicants will be placed on an on-call list and contacted as needed to assist with snowplowing, shoveling, and other snow removal duties. Work schedules will vary depending on weather conditions, with approximately 0–20 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must possess a valid Iowa driver's license.

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B.

• Must be able to work outdoors in winter weather conditions.

• Must be available to report to work on short notice.
