Sunday River's tuning technicians know their skis and snowboards, and provide excellent customer service along with the best equipment tunes and repairs in the business. This job is both fast-paced and detail driven. The ideal team player exudes a positive attitude, sense of ownership, safety first mindset, and an unsurpassed attention to detail no matter the task.

Tune Shop Tech responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Execute numerous functions related to a high-quality equipment tuning and repair shop 
• Work with customers to evaluate their equipment needs
• Use a variety of hand tools and heavy machinery to tune and and reapair skis and snowboards
• Ongoing safety training 
• Opening and closing a point of sale 
• Tracking and filing all paperwork 

• Maintaining a clean and organized area 
• Ordering/stocking/tracking inventory and repairs as needed 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Previous rental shop and tuning knowledge preferred 
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be at least 16 years old 

Compensation & Benefits 

• Wage ranges from $16 - $20 per hour, depending on experience
