Schedule: Full time. Hospital kitchen shifts, which can include early mornings, evenings and weekends. We'll go over the exact shifts with you at your interview.
Clean2TheKore is hiring four Cooks for the hospital kitchen at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage. You'll cook for patients, staff and guests, follow the menu and recipes, and keep the kitchen clean, safe and organized.
What you'll do
- Prep and cook meals using standard recipes and portion sizes
- Have food ready on time for each meal service
- Follow food safety (HACCP), sanitation and temperature rules
- Keep your station, coolers and storage clean and labeled
- Follow hospital safety, infection control and patient privacy rules
- Work as a team with the rest of the kitchen staff
What you need
- 1 year of cooking experience (restaurant, hospital, school or other commercial kitchen) preferred
- Able to stand for most of your shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler or ServSafe card, or willing to get one
- Reliable transportation to Hermitage
- Background check and drug screen (including marijuana) required
