Job Description Summary

Translating rough sketches and ideas into drawings that can be used by hospital personnel, Architects, Engineers, and any other interested parties, for the efficiency and timely upkeep, repair, remodeling, and new construction on property and/or facilities owned and/or operated by Southeast Health. These drawings are produced with the aid of special computer programs, to insure that our patients receive quality care and safe environment by following the policies and procedures of Planning and Development, and Southeast Health and state and local codes.

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate;
• At least five (5) years experience as Construction Superintendent;
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints;
• Valid drivers license

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation

SKILLS:

• Basic computer skills;
• Ability to utilize the Internet, Extranet, and E-mail;
• Ability to utilize radio and pager system
