Corporate Office – Lehi & Draper, UT

Job Description

Moto United Powersports and Marine United are premier dealerships proudly serving riders and boaters across Utah and Arizona. Moto United is a bonded, Platinum Certified powersports dealership keeping riders on the trails, roads, and sand, with full sales (new and pre-owned), parts and accessories, and service departments. Moto United carries Yamaha, Can-Am, Can-Am Spyder, Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Triumph, and CFMOTO. Marine United is an authorized dealer for Chaparral, Nautique, and Godfrey Pontoons, offering a wide selection of new and pre-owned boats to fit every lifestyle, adventure, and budget, along with watersports gear and accessories, from our locations in Lehi, Utah, St. George, Utah, and Page, Arizona. We're dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a vibrant community of powersports and boating enthusiasts. We're looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Marketing, Social Media & Event Coordinator to help tell the story of both brands online, bring our customers together in person, and make the most of every marketing dollar.

Job Summary:

This is a hands-on, wide-ranging corporate role supporting both Moto United and Marine United. It blends event planning, content creation, and digital marketing. The coordinator will plan and run dealership events, manage our social media and website content, create and manage ads and advertising campaigns, and handle manufacturer co-op programs. One week might mean organizing a demo day; the next might mean filming a new model walkaround or building an ad campaign.

We know great candidates come from many backgrounds. You may be a social media or content creator, an event or hospitality planner, a marketing coordinator, or someone who has done a bit of everything for a small business or nonprofit. If you have strong experience in at least one of these areas and are eager to grow in the others, we encourage you to apply. Powersports or boating knowledge is a plus, but it isn't required. We can teach you the products.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Coordination:
    • Plan, organize, and run dealership events such as open houses, demo days, group rides, new model launches, boat shows, on-water demos, and customer appreciation events.
    • Manage event logistics from start to finish, including scheduling, vendors, venues and permits, staffing, setup, and teardown.
    • Build and manage event budgets.
    • Coordinate with manufacturers, local businesses, riding and boating clubs, and community organizations on sponsorships, partnerships, and community events.
    • Represent Moto United and Marine United at offsite events, rallies, and shows as needed.
    • Gather feedback and results after each event to make the next one even better.
  • Social Media & Content Creation:
    • Develop and carry out a social media plan that supports sales, service, and event goals for both Moto United and Marine United.
    • Create photos, videos, reels, stories, live streams, and written posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
    • Showcase new inventory, promotions, events, and the people and culture behind our dealerships.
    • Plan, film, edit, and publish how-to, maintenance, riding and boating tips, and product demonstration videos for our YouTube channels.
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online reviews to build a positive, engaged community.
  • Digital Marketing & Advertising:
    • Design and create ad content, including graphics, video, and copy, for social, digital, and print campaigns.
    • Create, manage, and optimize paid social ad campaigns using Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram) to drive traffic, lead generation, and event attendance.
    • Support local and traditional marketing such as email, print, radio, signage, and in-store promotional materials.
    • Track results across social media, the website, advertising, and events, and share regular reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Website Management:
    • Keep the Moto United and Marine United websites current with inventory, promotions, events, and other content.
    • Apply SEO best practices and use website analytics to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Manufacturer Co-op Programs:
    • Research and identify available co-op advertising programs from our manufacturers.
    • Prepare and submit co-op proposals and claims in line with manufacturer guidelines.
    • Maintain organized records of all submissions and track reimbursements.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales, service, parts, and leadership teams to keep messaging and branding consistent for each brand across every channel.
    • Stay current on marketing, social media, and event trends, especially in the powersports and marine industries.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in one or more of the following: social media management or content creation, event planning or coordination, or marketing coordination. Experience from business, nonprofit, hospitality, retail, or freelance work all counts.
  • Hands-on experience running and managing paid ad campaigns through Meta Business Suite / Meta Ads Manager.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic photo and video skills, or a willingness to learn.
  • A self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative, approachable, and comfortable working with customers, vendors, and community partners.

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience in, or a passion for, powersports, automotive, marine, or outdoor recreation.
  • Experience with manufacturer co-op advertising programs.
  • Familiarity with design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS), or social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Experience with event budgeting and vendor management.

Requirements:
