Responsibilities

  • Lead, organize, and support night-shift employees across multiple locations.
  • Perform commercial cleaning and demonstrate proper cleaning methods.
  • Train new hires and coach existing employees on cleaning standards, safety, equipment, and site-specific requirements.
  • Assign tasks, manage workloads, and arrange coverage for call-outs so no location is missed.
  • Inspect completed work, correct deficiencies, and follow through on complaints to prevent repeat problems.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, timekeeping, and completion of assigned duties.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment, report maintenance needs, and safeguard keys and access codes.
  • Enforce company policies, chemical safety procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate staffing issues, inspection results, incidents, and unresolved concerns promptly to management.
  • Keep accurate inspection, training, and shift reports using company systems.
  • Secure each facility according to its closing procedures.
Qualifications

  • At least two years of commercial cleaning experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience, including training employees and holding them accountable.
  • Ability to coordinate employees and priorities at multiple locations with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and infection-prevention practices.

  • Availability to work nights and any weekends required by assigned accounts.
  • A reliable phone and ability to use scheduling, timekeeping, messaging, and inspection applications.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Ability to perform the essential physical duties of commercial cleaning, with or without reasonable accommodations
