The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the senior executive of the Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority, responsible for strategic leadership and executive oversight of all PARA programs, facilities, finances, and personnel. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO advances PARA's mission and ensures high-quality parks, recreation, and athletic services for the citizens of Tuscaloosa County.

The CEO leads a collaborative executive team, while retaining final decision-making authority and accountability to the Board. The role calls for a forward-thinking approach to financial sustainability - developing new revenue sources and partnerships beyond traditional funding models-and for productive working relationships with PARA's funding partners: the City of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, and the City of Northport.
