Lead complex trust, probate, and fiduciary litigation from case assessment through resolution.
Drive case strategy in will and trust contests, fiduciary duty claims, accounting disputes, surcharge actions, and elder abuse matters.
Represent trustees, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, seniors, and their families in litigation.
Build and maintain client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary contact.
Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.
Supervise, delegate work to, and mentor associates on active matters.
Help shape the direction and collegial culture of the practice group.
At least 8 years of dedicated trust and estate litigation experience in California, with active litigation practice in this area.
Strong experience with probate court matters, will and trust contests, fiduciary duty claims, accounting disputes, surcharge actions, and financial elder abuse litigation.
Active California State Bar membership in good standing and a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex case strategy and supervise or mentor junior attorneys.
Established relationships in the Bay Area trust and estate litigation community are valued; a book of business is not required.
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Annual base salary: $225,000 to $275,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Hybrid work arrangement, based primarily in San Mateo, California. Pleasanton and San Jose offices are also available.
