Bass Cat Boats is the premier fiberglass bass boat manufacturer located in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The company was founded by the Pierce family in 1971. In 2011 Yar-Craft joined the Bass Cat family with the Pierce’s acquiring the line from the Suthers family and extending that tradition, started by Jack Dallman in 1969. Bass Cat Boats carries on the 55 year family tradition as Rick Pierce remains involved in the operation today, under the parent company Correct Craft (since March, 2015) with over 100 years of manufacturing boats. Cody Blair is presently the acting President.
